SCR & AdBlue Fault Support
Diagnostics-led support for AdBlue warning messages, countdowns, no-start restrictions and system-related fault codes. We assess the vehicle’s current status before recommending repair, reset or an appropriate software route.
We review the registration, dashboard message, stored fault codes and previous repair history before advising on the next step.
An active mileage or no-start countdown must be identified and, where possible, reset before any supported ECU programming work.
The correct route may involve wiring diagnosis, component repair, sensor replacement, system reset or an eligible non-road software option.
Tell us the exact remaining mileage or number of starts when enquiring. Once the restriction threshold is reached, the vehicle may not restart. Do not assume that ECU programming alone will clear an already-active no-start status.
Include any stored fault codes and tell us whether a countdown is currently active. Additional diagnosis or reset work is quoted separately where required.
AdBlue/SCR equipment forms part of the manufacturer-fitted emissions-control system. Equipment that is missing, obviously modified or obviously defective can be recorded as a major MOT defect. Our AdBlue-disable software service is only offered for genuine off-road, competition or motorsport applications and is not supplied for vehicles used on public roads. EGR System Diagnosis
EGR-related warning lights and drivability problems are not always caused by the valve alone. We begin by reviewing the fault codes, symptoms and intended use of the vehicle before recommending the appropriate route.
The EGR system recirculates a controlled amount of exhaust gas into the engine to reduce certain emissions. Faults can involve the EGR valve, position sensor, cooler, wiring, airflow readings, intake contamination or related components.
We check the registration, warning message, symptoms and stored diagnostic fault codes.
Depending on the fault, the vehicle may require further diagnosis, cleaning, component repair or replacement.
EGR-disable software is only considered for appropriate non-road, competition or motorsport applications.
Software does not remove existing carbon deposits or repair a failed valve, EGR cooler, wiring fault, boost leak or unrelated mechanical issue. Additional diagnostic or repair work is quoted separately where required.

Diagnostics, Cleaning & DPF Support
Our main objective is to identify why the DPF is struggling to regenerate and retain the original filter wherever practical. DPF TerraClean is our primary cleaning route, supported by further diagnosis where another fault is causing the blockage.
Our Preferred Approach
A blocked DPF is often the result of repeated short journeys, failed regenerations, sensor problems, engine-temperature issues or another underlying fault. Cleaning the filter without addressing the cause may allow the problem to return.

Cleaning Route
A dedicated TerraClean DPF cleaning process for suitable filters affected by accumulated soot and restricted flow.
Where Required
If cleaning alone will not resolve the issue, we can investigate related faults or advise on off-vehicle cleaning and replacement.
The service is primarily intended to address accumulated soot and restricted flow. A filter that is physically damaged, melted, heavily contaminated with oil or loaded with non-combustible ash may require removal for specialist off-vehicle cleaning or replacement. Existing engine faults must also be addressed to help prevent the blockage from returning.
Include the dashboard warning, stored fault codes, recent repair history and whether the vehicle is currently in limp mode. We will advise whether assessment, TerraClean or further diagnosis is the best starting point.
Where the original DPF is damaged or cannot be cleaned, the compliant route for a public-road vehicle is repair or replacement. A manufacturer-fitted DPF that is missing or has been tampered with is a major MOT defect. Physical DPF removal and ECU deletion are only considered for genuine non-road, competition or motorsport applications and are not supplied for vehicles used on public roads.
