Ignition coils and spark plugs replaced on this MINI after it came in running rough. Following diagnosis, the issue was traced to the ignition coils and spark plugs, so both were changed. Now running exactly as it should again.EGR issue with this one, the EGR was stuck, causing power loss at the top end and triggering engine codes. Under load, the car would misbehave. We ensured the EGR was closed, checked the live data, and deleted the EGR.Facing AdBlue problems, the pickup experienced issues with its countdown timer due to a glitch. We pinpointed the issue, performed the required software update, and returned it to service without the risk of being stopped. The AdBlue system remained enabled.Stage 1 ECU and TCU DSG tune on this VW Caddy. Customer wanted better performance and a gearbox calibration to match, so we sharpened both the engine and transmission setup to make the van feel much more responsive all round. Better pull, improved shift strategy, and a much nicer drive overall.Mini in for a Stage 1 calibration after an engine rebuild and upgraded cam. The customer felt the car was still lacking through the mid range and upper revs, so the aim here was to optimise the ECU calibration to better suit the hardware setup and improve the overall power delivery.

Being a naturally aspirated engine, the gains are never as dramatic as a turbo vehicle, as there’s no boost pressure to increase, but there is still plenty to be gained by refining ignition timing, throttle mapping, load targets, and fuelling where safe and appropriate.

The result is a much cleaner and more responsive power curve, improved throttle response, stronger pull through the rev range, and a car that feels far more sorted and enjoyable to drive.On this Fiat Ducato, the customer had already had the DPF deleted, but the software side hadn’t been done properly, which was causing running issues and sending the van into limp mode. We carried out the software work needed to match the DPF delete and get everything working as it should. After that, the issues were gone and the van was back to running as it should again.
