Summary of Your Key Legal Rights
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that:
✔ You can ask us to repeat or fix a service if it is not carried out with reasonable care and skill or request a refund if we are unable to rectify it.
✔ If a price hasn’t been agreed upfront, you must only be charged a reasonable amount.
✔ If a time hasn’t been agreed upfront, services must be completed within a reasonable timeframe.
1. Introduction
By booking our services online or via telephone, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. We may update these terms at any time, but your order will be subject to the terms in effect at the time of booking. These terms are intended to protect both the service provider and the customer by ensuring clear expectations regarding the scope, liability, and limitations of our services.
2. Privacy and Personal Information
Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and store your personal information.
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and do not share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
3. Ordering Services from Us
Bookings can be made via our website or phone.
Orders will be acknowledged via email but are not confirmed until you receive a Confirmation Email from us.
A £60 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking.
If we cannot accept your booking (e.g., due to payment failure or availability issues), we will notify you and refund any payments made.
Orders are subject to availability. If unforeseen circumstances prevent us from providing a service, we will offer a refund or alternative appointment.
Customers must ensure that all vehicle details provided during the booking process are accurate and complete. Any misrepresentation of the vehicle's condition, modifications, or existing faults may lead to cancellation of the service without a refund.
4. Service Limitations
We do not offer mechanical repairs or diagnostic services beyond software tuning and remapping.
Performance improvements vary based on vehicle condition, modifications, and history. We do not guarantee specific power gains.
If a vehicle has been previously tuned, additional tuning may not yield further improvements.
If a vehicle’s mechanical condition prevents successful tuning, a £60 inspection fee applies.
We are not responsible for mechanical failures arising from existing wear and tear, unresolved fault codes, or turbocharger limitations.
Tuning maps are fixed at the time of application and will not change with further review. The results are immediate upon driving the vehicle.
We only provide tuning services that operate within the safe parameters of hardware components. If we determine that a requested map could exceed safe tolerances for the turbo, engine, or other vehicle components, we reserve the right to refuse service to protect the vehicle’s integrity.
Any tuning that is found to have been applied in a way that could cause adverse long-term effects on the engine, drivetrain, or turbocharger reliability will be declined.
5. Your Responsibilities
To ensure a successful tuning process, you must:
✔ Confirm that your vehicle is in good mechanical condition and has been regularly serviced.
✔ Inform us of any prior modifications, existing faults, or mechanical issues at the time of booking.
✔ Provide accurate information about your vehicle's setup, as tuning suitability is determined based on your vehicle’s actual configuration at the time of inspection.
✔ Acknowledge that incorrect descriptions of modifications may result in the map being unsuitable for your setup and that alternative solutions may not be provided.
7. Payment Terms
We accept major debit/credit cards.
The £60 booking fee is required upfront and non-refundable after the cooling-off period.
If we travel to you, a £30 call-out fee applies (minimum charge of £90 in total).
Full payment is due immediately after services are completed.
Late payments incur 3% interest above the Bank of England base rate per annum.
If a payment dispute arises after job completion, we reserve the right to escalate the matter via formal dispute resolution channels.
